What Rough Beasts
Phoiros is a large island to the southeast, separated from the mainland by the Polydotic Sea.
It’s inhabitants (the Phoirans) can be found trading their strange, finely-made wares up and down the coast, and in the courts of both Herodosus and Koloss. Their primary exports are fine pottery, elaborate metalwork (both precious and everyday metals), and tin (an essential component for the production of bronze).
Phoirans dress colorfully, speak with strange, lilting accents (when they don’t speak their own undecipherable language), and travel in huge (10-person), masted sailing ships.
